Summary
Any company that wants to perform street-vending activities on Walloon territory must prove that they have approval for street-vending activities, which has been issued by an approved one-stop-shop for business.
Street-vending activities comprise any sale, offer of sale or display of consumer products or services with a view to sale, which is carried out by an individual outside of their establishment(s) or by an individual that has no permanent establishment.
An individual who performs street-vending activities on their own behalf, as an individual or as a company manager, must be in possession of an approval for street-vending activities.
An individual who performs street-vending activities on behalf of an individual or a company (as an assistant, employee, etc.) must be in possession of an employee approval (A or B) for street-vending activities.
Employee approval A is impersonal and interchangeable between employees. It is valid in any approved location, with the exception of the consumer's home.
Employee approval B is personal and non-transferable. It is valid in any approved location, including the consumer's home.

The approval for street-vending activities is aimed at companies who want to perform street-vending activities on Walloon territory.
The parties concerned may be individuals or legal entities.
To obtain approval for street-vending activities, the relevant party must satisfy three criteria:
- Nationality or residence conditions: be a national from a member of the European Economic Area (EEA), or have permanent residence in Belgium;
- Profession condition: satisfy the criteria required to perform street-vending activities;
- Morality condition: be of good character and morals when performing street-vending activities at the consumer’s home.
If approval for street-vending activities is obtained, the company may perform street-vending activities (subject to other administrative formalities).
To obtain approval for street-vending activities, the company must contact an approved one-stop-shop for business.
Corporate approval for street-vending activities costs €150.
Employee approval (A or B) for street-vending activities costs €100.
