Summary
If you would like to teach in the German-speaking Community and are a national of an EU member state or the EU economic area and are a fully qualified teacher within the meaning of the European Directive 2005/36/EC, you can apply for professional recognition of your teaching qualification at the Ministry of the German-speaking Community.
If you are not a national of an EU member state and did not obtain your teaching qualification within the European Union or the European economic area, you will need to apply for a diploma equivalence at the Ministry of the German-speaking Community.
